Industry data released at the conference: In 2024, key enterprises in the industry will achieve sales revenue exceeding 870 billion yuan, profits of approximately 47 billion yuan, and exports of $92.9 billion. For the first six months of 2025, sales revenue exceeded 410 billion yuan, profits of 16 billion yuan, and exports of $43.23 billion. While the industry faces operational pressures, expanding domestic demand and digitalization present development opportunities. The forum also included a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding between the Chinese and Belarusian Consumer Associations, marking a new stage in leather industry cooperation between the two countries.
