From September 3 to 5, 2025, the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. With an exhibition area of 80,500 square meters, this edition is expected to attract over 1,000 exhibitors and over 30,000 professional buyers from more than 20 countries and regions. It is a major event for the global leather industry and a bellwether for the high-quality development of China's leather industry and the restructuring of the global supply chain.
The exhibition fosters collaboration across the entire supply chain, presenting a global dialogue from raw materials to end-users. Since its inception in 1998, it has served as a key platform for international companies to enter China and for domestic companies to expand overseas. Halls E1-E7 will showcase products from the entire supply chain, including leather, leather chemicals, footwear materials, and machinery. In conjunction with the inaugural "Modern China International Shoes, Bags, and Apparel Fashion Exhibition," the exhibition will create a "Leather + Fashion" ecosystem spanning over 100,000 square meters, helping buyers find suppliers and gain insights into fashion trends.
Green empowerment is a core focus of the exhibition, with environmentally friendly technologies reshaping the core of the industry. Leading leather manufacturers such as Dongming and Xingye, as well as leading leather chemical companies such as Dawei and Boska, will exhibit green products and technologies, including chrome-free tanning agents and tanning wastewater recycling technology, to promote the industry's transformation towards a low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and sustainable future.
Intelligent upgrades are key to industry transformation, with AI and data driving efficiency gains. Shoe machinery companies such as Emma and Textron, leather equipment companies such as Longyi and Sirui, and supply chain companies such as Harbin Institute of Technology Boshi will showcase intelligent equipment and solutions, such as multi-material cutting machines and leather testing machines, to drive the leather manufacturing industry towards a data-driven future.
Fashion leads the way in satisfying both emotional and functional needs. Xingye Leather and Zhengyi will launch innovative fabrics, while Gangyi Group and Haituo New Materials will showcase new footwear products, allowing leather to permeate everyday life in diverse forms and redefine the meaning of "fashion material."
The exhibition will also host major events such as the expanded meeting of the China Leather Association Council and the International Footwear Technology Conference, helping the industry navigate trade frictions and the impact of alternative materials and explore new paths for development.
